Bailey Builds Wood Mosaic Club

What's in the box: The site does not say what a club shipment contains, but its kits and buildables suggest wood pieces you paint or put together yourself.

Bailey Builds is a wood mosaic art studio in Duluth, Minnesota, run by Anna and Nathanael Bailey. It also runs a retail store called BB + Friends, which is open seven days a week. The website sells finished wood mosaic pieces in several sizes, a range of kits and buildables, and a newer Nordic hygge art collection. One example piece, Dot's a Good Idea, is listed at $36.00 and comes in 6, 8 and 10 inch sizes. The site does not clearly describe a recurring Wood Mosaic Club. We could not find a plan, a billing schedule or an explanation of what arrives each cycle, so if you want a true subscription, contact the shop before you commit. The kits and buildables look like the closest match, and customers describe families painting quilt square kits together as a group project. In October the business is marking its 11th year with an extra $11 off online orders over $30 and a free gift with orders over $111. Shipping is calculated at checkout. The Baileys have a friendly brand that leans on puns, and the store also stocks goods from other local artists. The maker is well regarded, but the subscription side is too vague for a higher score.
