Beauty Heroes is a clean beauty retailer built around a monthly subscription called the Monthly Discovery. Each month centers on one Hero product from a single brand. Recent picks include LILFOX in October, Oio Lab in September, Innersense in August and Le Prunier in July. The site also mentions a monthly Sidekick, a second item that comes with the main product. Membership starts at $41.95 a month, and members save 15% in the Beauty Store every day. Founder Jeannie Jarnot was promoting what she calls healthy beauty before clean beauty became a trend. The company says its ingredient standards go further than typical clean beauty rules, excluding ingredients linked to toxicity, non-biodegradability and environmental harm. It describes its range as mostly organic and cruelty-free. The brands lean premium and often pricey, such as True Botanicals, Marie Veronique and RMS Beauty, so the box suits people who already spend on skincare and want someone else to vet ingredients. Because each month focuses on one brand, you get depth rather than variety. That may disappoint anyone hoping for a bag of mixed samples. The site does not clearly say whether you can skip months or swap products. Beauty Heroes also runs a physical store in Novato, California, and ships to Canada and internationally.
