Bee Downtown

What's in the box: The site does not state what a box contained, and the company was mainly known for hosted hives and beekeeping programs rather than shipped boxes.

Bee Downtown is not operating normally right now: its website no longer loads, and we would not recommend trying to sign up or send payment. When it was active, Bee Downtown was a beekeeping company based in Durham, North Carolina, best known for placing and maintaining honeybee hives on corporate campuses rather than for a classic consumer subscription box. Businesses paid to host hives, staff learned about bees through the program, and the company handled the hands-on care of the colonies. The idea was to support pollinator health while giving employers a memorable sustainability and team-building program. Because the site is down, we cannot confirm current pricing, what a recurring package included, or how deliveries worked, and the company does not state any of that anywhere we can reach. If you were a past customer with an open order or account, try contacting the company through any email or phone details you already have, and check your bank or card statements for recurring charges you may want to stop. Shoppers who want a beekeeping subscription today should look for an active service with a working website, clear terms, and a reachable support team. Bee Downtown had an appealing mission, but without a functioning site there is no reliable way to buy from it or get help.
