The current theme is Beers of the World, with 8 beers from breweries across five continents, two artisan snacks and a copy of Ferment, the club's own beer magazine. Past themes have focused on single regions such as Iberia, Italy and Taiwan, so each case tends to read like a small tasting tour rather than a random mixed pack. The site says the beers are small-batch and chosen by experts, and you can customise the box to your preferences. Members can rate and review their beers, magazine and snacks to earn points. Pricing shown is £27 for the first case, then £29.95 every 28 days until cancelled, with a possible £2.99 remote surcharge. That works out to a little under £4 per beer before counting the snacks and magazine. This is reasonable for imported and small-batch craft beer but more than supermarket multipacks. Because billing runs every 28 days, you get roughly 13 cases a year rather than 12, so keep that in mind when budgeting. Beer52 also runs wine, whisky and coffee clubs and is a certified B Corp.
