What's in the box: When it was running, each shipment held hand-dyed sock yarn in a colorway made for the club and sock patterns designed for that yarn.
Blue Moon Fiber Arts' Rockin' Sock Club is not currently operating, and its old web address now leads to an unrelated crypto gambling page instead of a yarn shop. Do not try to join or send payment through that address. When it ran, the Rockin' Sock Club was one of the better known yarn clubs among US knitters. Blue Moon Fiber Arts, an independent dyer based in Oregon, sent members its hand-dyed sock yarn in colorways made for the club. Each shipment came with sock patterns written for that yarn. Much of the appeal was the surprise of a new colorway and a new pattern arriving together. Many members also enjoyed knitting the same project as other club members at the same time. The yarn was dyed by hand in small batches, so each skein had its own character. Fans valued that, but some knitters found it less predictable than commercial yarn. There is no working sign-up page and no current shipping schedule. The old site also has no information on refunds or customer service for past members. If you were a member and have questions about past orders, look for official contact channels somewhere other than the old domain. If you want a sock yarn club today, choose an active independent dyer with a working, secure store and clear terms.
