Ownership. Swiss online grocer Farmy acquired Blumenpost on 1 February 2022.

What's in the box: A florist-arranged bouquet of whatever regional flowers and greenery are in season, sourced from Swiss growers.

Blumenpost is a Swiss online flower shop built around regional, seasonal flowers sourced directly from local nurseries and growers. Its focus is sustainability: short transport routes, flowers that are truly in season, and delivery anywhere in Switzerland. You could buy single bouquets or sign up for a flower subscription. The site also lists dried flowers, add-on products and a section for business customers. Swiss online grocer Farmy acquired the company on 1 February 2022. The most important thing to know right now is that Blumenpost says it has temporarily stopped operating. A notice on its site thanks customers and says goodbye for now, but gives no date for a return. The shop and subscription pages are still online, so don't count on placing an order or starting a subscription until the company announces it is back. While it was running, the subscription delivered seasonal bouquets on a regular schedule and could be paused or cancelled at any time. The site said subscribers saved up to 10 francs per bouquet compared with single orders. The brand also ran a blog about seasonal flowers and drying techniques, sold a seasonal flower calendar poster, and promoted workshops through its newsletter. If you want local, seasonal Swiss flowers, keep Blumenpost on your watch list, but order from another service for now.
