What's in the box: A typical box held tapioca pearls to cook at home, along with tea, flavorings and wide boba straws.

Boba From Home does not appear to be operating right now. Its website no longer loads, and there is no current sign that orders or subscriptions are being filled. When it was running, the brand sold do it yourself bubble tea kits for people who wanted to make boba drinks in their own kitchen instead of visiting a tea shop. The kits were built around tapioca pearls that you cook at home. They came with tea and flavorings so you could make milk tea or fruity drinks, plus the wide straws that boba needs. The company also had a subscription program page, which suggests it offered repeat deliveries of these supplies. The site does not make clear how the plan worked, how often boxes shipped, or whether it is still active. The idea was simple. Boba is a treat many people love, and a home kit can be a fun project or a way to get the drink where there are no shops nearby. The usual drawback of any boba kit is the work involved, since pearls take time to cook and taste best fresh. With the site down, you cannot check current products, place an order, or manage or cancel a subscription online. If you want boba supplies, choose a brand that is still selling and supporting its customers.
