Box of Wine is an Irish wine subscription. It starts with a 30 second quiz about your taste, and the team uses your answers to put together a monthly box. The standard box holds 3 bottles, and there are 2 bottle and 4 bottle versions as well. The picks combine familiar styles with wines you may not have tried before. About a week after each delivery, the club emails you to ask what you thought, and your answers shape the next box. The idea is that the selections suit you better the longer you stay. Prices are listed openly: €41.95 a month for 2 bottles, €59.95 for 3 and €75.95 for 4. There is also a Wineport Lodge box at €64.95 a month, which the site lists with free delivery. If you're buying a gift, you can choose prepaid 3 month or 6 month subscriptions or a one-off 3 bottle gift box. Outside the club, the site runs a bottle shop, case deals and a range of Irish gifts that includes Skellig's chocolates and Dalkey soaps.
