Boxwild

Closed. The website no longer loads. Press listings were active in August 2025, but I could not confirm that the subscription is still sold.

What's in the box: The site does not state what a typical box contained, beyond a general theme of birdwatching and wild birds.

Boxwild does not appear to be operating normally right now: its website no longer loads, and there is no sign that the subscription can still be bought. When it was running, Boxwild was a UK subscription box themed around birdwatching and wild birds, aimed at people with an interest in the birds around them. It was still appearing in press roundups of subscription boxes as recently as August 2025, so it may have closed or paused fairly recently. Details such as what each box contained, how often it shipped and what it cost are not available, so we cannot say how it compared with other wildlife or nature gift boxes. If you already hold a subscription or a gift voucher, check your bank or card statements for recent payments, and contact your card provider if you are being charged for boxes that are not arriving. For anyone shopping now, we would not recommend trying to sign up or buy a gift subscription unless the website returns and is clearly taking orders again. Bird lovers looking for something similar today are better off choosing a box that is currently trading and can show clear contents, pricing and delivery terms.
