What's in the box: When it ran, members borrowed LEGO sets to build and later return, though specific set details could not be confirmed.
Build Ur Bricks is not currently operating normally: its website at buildurbricks.co.uk no longer loads, and we could not confirm that the service is still running. It was a UK based LEGO rental service, and it was reviewed in the past by the LEGO fan site Brickset. The idea behind LEGO rental is simple. Instead of buying sets outright, members borrow them, build them, and send them back in exchange for something new. For families whose children build a set once and then move on, or for adult fans who enjoy the building more than displaying the result, this model can offer variety without filling shelves or paying full retail price for every box. We were unable to retrieve any details of the plans, pricing, set selection, delivery arrangements or rules on missing pieces, so we cannot describe how the service handled those points. Anyone who was a customer and still holds sets or has an outstanding payment should check their records and contact their bank or card provider if they cannot reach the company. We do not recommend trying to sign up. If LEGO rental appeals to you, look for a service that is currently trading, has a working website, and clearly explains its terms for lost pieces, returns and cancellations before you commit.
