Ownership. EMERGE Commerce bought Carnivore Club in August 2021 and sold almost all of its Canadian and US business assets in January 2025.
What's in the box: Orders are built from cured meats such as salami and Spanish jamon, along with jerky, snack sticks and specialty pantry items, bought one at a time or as gift sets.
Carnivore Club started as a cured meat subscription box, but its Canadian site now works mainly as an online shop. The homepage says the company is 'more than subscriptions' and that customers can order with 'no subscription required.' The main menu lists collections such as Jamon, Jerky, Charcuterie, Kitchen & Pantry and a seasonal Oktoberfest range, but it does not show a subscription plan. If you want a recurring box, check the site before you order, because the homepage does not clearly offer one. The range covers Canadian charcuterie, jerky and specialty foods, plus Spanish jamon carving sets and refills. On the day we checked, the featured items included an elk salami from Atwood Heritage, which fits the 'Artisan. Handcrafted. Exclusive.' line in the site title. Gifts get a lot of space on the site. The site says orders ship anywhere in Canada, and US customers have a separate storefront. Ownership has changed. EMERGE Commerce bought Carnivore Club in August 2021 and sold almost all of its Canadian and US business assets in January 2025. The store is live and taking orders, but past customers should not assume the service works the way it used to. It is a reasonable choice for meat gifts and pantry orders in Canada. It is a weaker choice if you want a classic monthly box.
