Caroo (formerly SnackNation)

What's in the box: Depending on the option chosen, recipients get either a curated gift or a link to pick their own item from a collection that includes wellness products, kitchenware and gifts like whiskey chilling stones.

Caroo started out as SnackNation, a company known for delivering snack boxes to offices. Today its site presents it mainly as a corporate gifting platform for thanking employees and clients, built with distributed teams in mind. The homepage does not feature an office snack program, so if you want recurring break room snacks, check with sales before assuming it is still offered. Sending a gift is simple. You upload recipient emails, and Caroo can collect shipping addresses for you, or you can provide them. Then you pick a curated gift or use Recipient Choice, where you set a budget and each person picks an item from a collection of hundreds. You can schedule a send for today or for months ahead. Popular options include Recipient Choice at $25 or $50, a $45 wellness gift and whiskey chilling stones at $62. There are no minimums and no required membership, and shipping is a flat $6.99 anywhere in the world. The optional Caroo Plus membership adds free standard shipping on eligible gifts and a tiered anniversary program. It costs $999 per year through the end of 2026, against a regular price of $1,398 per year or $140 per month. Some destinations have restrictions. Caroo suits HR and people teams who want to thank many people without handling inventory or addresses. It is a poor fit if you want a classic monthly snack box.
