What's in the box: A curated selection of artisanal Swiss raw milk cheeses from cheezy's own dairies and partner dairies, chosen around the theme of the box you pick.
cheezy is run by Swiss cheesemakers who chose to sell their own cheese directly, and the range reflects that. The boxes focus on raw milk cheeses made in small dairies and aged at the company's own affinage sites, some for up to 36 months. They also include finds from partner dairies that share the same approach. There are three themed boxes: Gourmino, Die Ausgefallene (unusual cheeses) and Die Kräftigen und Reifen (strong and mature). Single boxes start at 42 to 47 CHF, and each one can be prepaid for 3, 6 or 12 months. The prepaid price is simply the single box price multiplied by the number of months, so committing longer saves you nothing. A Party box costs 59 CHF. Boxes ship every Thursday in chilled, recyclable packaging sized for a letterbox, and delivery is limited to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Beyond the boxes, a cheese counter sells individual cheeses up to whole wheels, such as a 36 month Sbrinz Alpage AOP, along with knives, gift wrap and vouchers. Corporate gift boxes can be arranged on request. The site is in German and French. Despite the category, the site does not mention charcuterie, so expect cheese only. The main pages also do not say how many cheeses or what weight each box holds.
