Closed. The website no longer loads. PitchBook lists the Amsterdam kids and maternity rental subscription as out of business; closure date unknown.
What's in the box: A rotating set of rented baby or children's clothes in your child's current size, or maternity wear for expecting parents, that you sent back once it no longer fit.
Circos is no longer operating. Its website does not load and the company is listed as out of business, so it cannot take new subscribers or fill orders. When it was running, Circos was an Amsterdam company that rented out baby and children's clothing on a subscription, along with maternity wear. Children outgrow clothes within months, so instead of buying them, parents rented pieces and sent them back when they no longer fit, then moved up to the next size. Returned items were cleaned and passed on to another family. That kept clothes in use for longer and cut down on waste. The service mainly served shoppers in the Netherlands. It is not clear when it stopped trading, and there is no public information about what happened to open subscriptions or clothes that were still out on rental. If you were a customer and have questions about returns or payments, check your bank or card statements and any old emails from the company. If you like the rental model, look for a service that is active today and clearly shows its terms, prices and return process before you sign up. Buying secondhand children's clothing locally gives you a similar benefit without a subscription.
