Clubs of America Chocolate of the Month Club

Moved. The old site now redirects to greatclubs.com.

What's in the box: When it ran, each monthly box held a selection of chocolates, usually sent as a gift.

The Clubs of America Chocolate of the Month Club no longer runs as a separate service, and clubsofamerica.com now redirects to greatclubs.com. Great Clubs sells gift of the month memberships and says it has offered subscription clubs since 1994. Its current lineup covers beer, wine, cigars, flowers, fruit, coffee and chocolate. When Clubs of America ran its chocolate club, the idea was simple: a box of chocolates arrived each month, and it was sold mostly as a gift for recipients in the US. It was one of several monthly clubs from the same company, so a shopper could buy gift memberships for different tastes in one place. Great Clubs does list a Chocolate of the Month Club. However, the site does not say whether it is the same program with the same suppliers and terms that Clubs of America customers had. Its other clubs mention a monthly newsletter, free shipping and a satisfaction guarantee, but you should not assume the old chocolate membership worked the same way. If you hold an old Clubs of America membership or gift certificate, contact Great Clubs directly to ask what still applies. We cannot recommend signing up under the old name, and we have not rated it because the original service is no longer operating on its own.
