What's in the box: Kits in this category typically contain themed craft or science materials with instructions for a hands-on project.

Cubby Kits does not appear to be operating at the moment, as its website at cubbykits.ca no longer loads and there is no sign the service is still taking or shipping orders. When it ran, Cubby Kits was a Canadian subscription box in the kids activity and STEM space, aimed at families looking for hands-on projects to do at home. Boxes in this category usually centre on a theme and pair craft or science materials with simple instructions, so children can build, experiment and create with some help from a parent. There is no current information available on its pricing, age ranges or shipping terms, so we cannot say how it compared with other kits on cost or value. If you previously subscribed, it is worth checking your bank or card statements for any recurring charges and contacting your payment provider if you see something you did not expect. We do not recommend trying to sign up. Families in Canada who want a similar experience should look at STEM and craft subscriptions that are clearly active, with a working website, visible contact details and clear cancellation terms, before committing to a recurring plan.
