CultureFly

What's in the box: Each box is built around one licensed franchise and holds a surprise mix of exclusive themed collectibles, apparel and accessories.

CultureFly is a US-based pop culture retailer. It runs licensed fandom subscription boxes and also sells collectibles, apparel and accessories. The boxes currently on its site are the Pusheen Box, Pusheen Cat Kit Box, Supernatural Box and Friends Box, plus a newly shipping Star Wars Galaxy Box listed at $120.00. You can buy boxes once or subscribe quarterly or annually, so you can get a single themed box without committing to more. The store also sells blind box and mystery vinyl figures from One Piece, The Powerpuff Girls, Ghostface and Astro Bot, with listed prices from $12.99 to $25.00. A marketplace section carries other brands, creators and artists. The main strength is official licensing: products are tied to well-known franchises rather than generic geek merchandise. The downside is that box contents are a surprise, so whether a box is worth it depends on how much you care about that fandom. Several products show as sold out, so popular releases may be hard to get. The lineup leans toward TV, film, anime and cute characters more than video games. For fans of one of the supported franchises, CultureFly is a reasonable choice. Buyers looking for gaming gear will find less here.
