Moved. The old site now redirects to mysteriouspackage.com.
What's in the box: A typical installment was a set of specially made envelopes holding puzzles, documents and physical clues for one episode of an ongoing escape room style story.
Curious Correspondence no longer runs as its own service. Its website now redirects to the Mysterious Package Company store, which lists it as one of two escape game series instead of a standalone subscription box. When it ran, Curious Correspondence sold an episodic, analogue puzzle adventure by mail. Each chapter came in specially made envelopes and aimed to feel like an escape room at home. Players solved clues and handled physical components to move the story forward. The Mysterious Package Company page now lists a Curious Correspondence Master Collection and an Initiation Collection, so the episodes seem to be sold as bundled sets rather than on a recurring schedule. The same store also sells Doomensions, a standalone pop-up house with eight puzzle rooms, and a game called Dead Man's Tale. Because the original service is gone in its old form, we cannot confirm how the current collections compare to the subscription earlier players received, or whether ordering and delivery work the same way. The store shows prices in US dollars, which matters for buyers in Canada, the service's main market. This directory does not treat Curious Correspondence as an active subscription and does not recommend signing up based on its past reputation.
