When it was running, it was a subscription box sold through shopDisney for Disney fans in the US. Each shipment was built around a theme drawn from Disney's films and franchises. Its main appeal was exclusivity: the boxes held Disney merchandise and collectibles made only for subscribers, so collectors could get items they could not buy anywhere else. The service did not last long. It launched not long before the pandemic and ended after only a few shipments, so few people ever received it. Anyone hoping to collect those exclusive items now will have to look for secondhand listings, where availability and condition will vary. The Disney Store site that replaced it is an ordinary online shop. It sells holiday ornaments, clothing, toys, home goods and collectibles from franchises such as Toy Story, Lilo & Stitch and Sleeping Beauty, but it does not offer a replacement subscription box. Shoppers who want Disney collectibles can still buy them there one at a time. Anyone who specifically wants a recurring themed box will need to look at other services.
