DuraPaw

What's in the box: A typical box has three to four exclusive themed toys, Canadian-made treats and a few bonus themed surprises.

DuraPaw is a Canadian monthly dog box built around toys, with treats in a supporting role. Each month has a theme, and the October drop is all about Halloween. The company says it designs its own toys and pairs them with Canadian-made treats and small themed extras. You can also customize the box, and you can pause or skip months whenever you like. Its best feature is a lifetime free toy replacement guarantee: if a toy doesn't hold up, they say they'll replace it. That matters if your dog shreds store toys in an afternoon. The site doesn't explain how to make a claim or what counts as a failed toy, though. A few things gave me pause. The site leans hard on countdowns, big discount banners and urgency, so it's hard to tell what you'll pay after the first box. It shows more than one starting price on the same page. And even though the brand is Canadian, the store may show US dollars, so check the currency and renewal terms at checkout. The site describes its toys as tough enough for power chewers but also calls some of them rippable, so expect a mix rather than toys that can't be destroyed. Overall, it's a decent toy-focused pick for Canadian dog owners if you read the subscription terms carefully.
