Fluker Farms

What's in the box: There is no fixed box; you choose live feeder insects, supplements and habitat gear from the store to build your own order.

Fluker's is a long running Louisiana feeder insect business that says it has been breeding live food for more than 70 years. The shop sells live crickets, including newly added banded crickets, along with mealworms, superworms, hornworms, black soldier fly larvae, fruit flies, hissing cockroaches and dubia roaches. Alongside the insects you will find supplements such as calcium with D3 and liquid vitamins, cricket food and water gel, plus heavier gear like bulbs, heat mats, clamp lamps, screen covers, terrariums and a bearded dragon starter kit. Listed prices start at a few dollars for small insect quantities, with live crickets from $6.90, and there is a recurring Tuesday deal on $5 hornworm cups. Free care sheets cover snakes, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, tortoises and chameleons, and seasonal articles cover topics like brumation. There is also a loyalty rewards program and package tracking. The main caveat for shoppers expecting a subscription box is that the site does not describe a curated box or a stated recurring delivery plan; it reads as a standard online store where you choose what to order. If you want dependable live feeders from an established breeder, it is a solid source. If you want a surprise monthly box, look elsewhere.
