What's in the box: When it operated, a box usually held a selection of gourmet pantry items such as olive oil, sauces, spreads, spices and snacks from smaller producers.

Foodist no longer operates as a subscription box, and foodist.de now redirects to More Nutrition, a German brand selling protein powders, flavour powders, sauce mixes and supplement gummies. When it was running, Foodist was a German gourmet food subscription for curious home cooks. Each delivery brought a mix of pantry products such as olive oil, sauces, spreads, spices and snacks, many from smaller producers that were hard to find in ordinary supermarkets. The appeal was discovery: you got items you might not have picked yourself, and you could reorder the ones you liked. If you remember the box, know that the redirected address does not offer a Foodist subscription. More Nutrition is a separate range built around saving calories and adding protein. It is not curated gourmet pantry food, so it does not replace what Foodist used to send. The site does not explain the redirect, and it does not say whether old accounts, subscriptions or gift cards carry over. If you still have a Foodist gift card or a question about a past order, contact the company directly instead of assuming it is still valid. If you want an olive oil or gourmet pantry subscription in Germany today, you will need to look at other services, because this one no longer ships boxes under its own name.
