What's in the box: A selection of seasonal stems delivered in bud, with an illustrated arranging guide and a sachet of Freddie's flower food.

Freddie's Flowers is a UK flower delivery service built around a subscription club. It also sells single boxes and gifts. Seasonal stems arrive at your door, mostly in bud, and you arrange them yourself using the illustrated guide that comes in each box. The company says the flowers open gradually and can last up to two weeks, and it presents arranging as part of the fun rather than a chore. Each box also includes Freddie's own flower food. You can skip or cancel a subscription at any time, so the commitment is low. Beyond the core subscription, the range includes occasion flowers, letterbox flowers, next day delivery, gift subscriptions, gift vouchers and corporate gifting. The brand also runs themed collections, such as its current bunches inspired by a new Sense and Sensibility film. On sustainability, Freddie's says it grows to order to keep waste down, uses recyclable or biodegradable packaging and low carbon deliveries, and holds B Corp certification. The main trade off is that you do not get a finished bouquet. If you want something ready to drop into a vase, or you want to pick your exact flowers, this format may not suit you. Because the selection is seasonal, you also have less control over what arrives. For regular flower buyers who enjoy some hands on creativity, it is a well established and sensible choice.
