Furball Box

What's in the box: Its exact contents were never well documented, but as a cat box it was meant to deliver a recurring assortment of cat-related goods.

Furball Box is no longer operating: its website does not load, and the service appears to have shut down not long after it launched in December 2013. The furballbox.com domain was later listed for sale, which is a strong sign the business will not be coming back. When it ran, Furball Box was a US-focused subscription box aimed at cat owners, part of the wave of pet subscription services that appeared in the early 2010s. Like other boxes in the category, the idea was to send a recurring package of cat-related goods so owners could try new items without shopping for them. Because the service was so short-lived, very little reliable detail survives about exactly what went into its boxes, how often they shipped, or what they cost, so we cannot say how well it delivered on that idea. There is no way to subscribe, and you should be cautious of any page using the Furball Box name or domain today, since it is not the original service. If you want a recurring delivery of toys or treats for your cat, look for a currently operating cat subscription box with a clear track record, published pricing, and an easy cancellation policy. Furball Box is listed here for reference only.
