What's in the box: Each month brings whole, unopened Kentucky geodes collected by hand, with the number depending on the plan you choose.
Geode Excursion Adventures is a monthly geode subscription run through a Skool community page by Jennifer Gilpin of Fishing Creek Rocks. The idea is simple. Members get whole, unopened Kentucky geodes each month, collected by hand and shipped to their door, so you still get to crack them open yourself. Kentucky is well known among rockhounds for its geodes, and the site says yours may hold quartz, calcite or chalcedony. Membership also opens a community area that promises photos and stories from the creek where the geodes are found, tips on cracking them safely, and educational material. The site says there are several plan sizes, from smaller starter packs to larger premium boxes, but it does not say how many geodes come in each tier or what each one costs. This is a very new and very small operation. The community has very few members so far, there is little visible activity, and the page has a few spelling slips that point to a one person business. That can be a plus if you like buying straight from the collector, but expect less polish and fewer guarantees than an established box. Before you join, check the plan details and confirm the shipping terms and cancellation policy.
