What's in the box: Pre-portioned ingredients and recipes for your chosen dinners, with optional groceries such as bread, dairy, snacks or a fruit box.
Godtlevert is a Norwegian meal kit service that delivers recipes and ingredients to your door, with a menu built around everyday family dinners. It offers a choice of 150 dinners each week, and you can either let the service pick for you or build your own menu. The dishes lean toward familiar comfort food with some variety: chicken breast with herb cream pasta, hoisin-baked salmon with rice, fish gratin with root vegetables, coq au vin, crispy smashed chicken tacos and a one-pot pasta with salsiccia and spinach. Prices start from 41 kr per portion, and new customers get 30% off the first delivery, 20% off the second and 10% off the third. There is no binding period, so you can start and stop deliveries whenever you like. Godtlevert says it reaches 90% of households in Norway, and a postcode checker lets you confirm coverage before ordering. You can also add groceries such as bread, juice, dairy products, snacks and a fruit box to your order, which may save you a separate trip to the shop. The company says it buys carefully selected ingredients from small-scale suppliers but does not name them. The introductory discounts taper off after three deliveries, so judge the value on the regular price.
