What's in the box: When it operated, members received a rotating selection of rented women's clothing from various brands, which they could return, swap or buy.

Haverdash is no longer operating: its website does not load, and its parent company, CaaStle, stopped operating and filed for Chapter 7 liquidation in June 2025. When it was running, Haverdash was a US clothing rental subscription. It was built on the idea that borrowing clothes is a more sustainable way to refresh a wardrobe than buying new. Members picked pieces from a catalog of women's apparel from a range of brands, wore them, and sent them back to swap for something else. They could also buy items they wanted to keep. CaaStle handled the work behind the service, including cleaning, shipping and inventory, as it did for the rental programs of several fashion brands. The appeal was variety without the waste of constant new purchases, plus a low pressure way to try styles before committing to them. Because CaaStle is in Chapter 7 liquidation, the service is not expected to come back. There is no working way to sign up, manage an account or reach support through the site. If you were a member and have billing questions, contact your card issuer or bank. If you are interested in renting clothes, look at services that are operating now and read their terms carefully.
