Hikewize no longer appears to be operating: its website at hikewize.com returns a server error and does not load, so new orders are not possible. When it was running, Hikewize sold a quarterly subscription box for hikers in the US. Each season it delivered a box of trail gear and supplies, timed so subscribers had fresh items ready for the hiking conditions of the months ahead. The last outside reviews of the box date from around 2019, and we found no sign of activity since then, such as new boxes, announcements or social media updates. Since the site is down, it does not state current prices, what recent boxes contained, or how existing subscriptions or refunds were handled. If you subscribed in the past and still see charges from the company, contact your card issuer instead of waiting for the site to come back. Shoppers who want a hiking box today should look at services that are still active and have a working website, clear terms and recent customer feedback. We will update this page if Hikewize resumes operations, but for now we do not recommend trying to sign up or send payment.
