Ownership. A FemTech healthcare startup reportedly bought it in 2021; the site still lists tween and teen boxes.
What's in the box: Self-care and confidence-building items picked for either tweens or teens, though the site does not list specific contents.
iBbeautiful is a US subscription box for tween and teen girls, built around self-care and confidence building. You choose a Tween Box or a Teen Box, each sold as a monthly plan at $36, a 3-month plan at $108, a 6-month plan at $210, or a 12-month plan at $408. Paying for a longer term brings the cost down a little, and the yearly plan works out to $34 a box. The problem right now is availability. Most plans are marked sold out, and for both age groups only the 12-month plan can be bought. That means paying for a full year up front without trying a single box first. That is a lot to commit when kids' tastes change quickly. The site does not say exactly what goes in each box, so parents may want to read the FAQ or contact the company before buying. Each plan has a small number of customer reviews, which points to a modest customer base. The brand was reportedly bought by a FemTech healthcare startup in 2021, and the shop still has dedicated gift and birthday pages. It can be a thoughtful present, but know what you are signing up for.
