What's in the box: Each box held a surprise selection of Israeli products, with a focus on Middle Eastern food.

Israel Box, also known as iBox, is no longer operating, and its website no longer loads. It launched through crowdfunding as a surprise box of Israeli products, created as a response to the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement, which calls for boycotts of Israeli goods. Instead of avoiding products made in Israel, subscribers received a selection of them every two to three months. The box was built around Middle Eastern food, so its appeal came partly from taste and partly from making a statement with what you buy. Since the service has stopped, you cannot order a box. Treat any old subscription links or payment pages you come across with caution. The service shows no recent activity, so do not expect deliveries, refunds or customer support. If you liked the idea, look for other Israeli food boxes that are still running, or buy directly from shops that carry Israeli brands. People who remember the service or come across its name should know that it has closed. Its pricing and the exact contents of each box are no longer available to check, so we can't confirm those details.
