Kinderkistl

Closed. The website no longer loads. Vienna monthly children's craft-box subscription for ages 3 to 8, covered in Falter in 2014 and 2016.

What's in the box: Each monthly box was built around craft projects for young children, though the details of what came in a typical box can no longer be checked.

Kinderkistl is no longer operating, and its website at kinderkistl.at no longer loads, so you can't subscribe or order a box. When it was running, Kinderkistl was a monthly subscription from Vienna that sent craft boxes to children aged 3 to 8. A new themed parcel of hands-on projects arrived each month, so parents didn't have to gather supplies or plan activities themselves. It was a small local Austrian service, not an international brand. The Vienna weekly Falter wrote about it in 2014 and 2016. Prices, delivery terms and the exact contents of individual boxes can't be checked now that the site is offline. If you still have an old account or an open order, don't expect help through the website. If your family in Austria wants something similar, look at craft or STEM subscriptions that are still running. Check their age ranges, delivery areas and cancellation terms before you sign up. Kinderkistl is worth remembering as a local idea for young families in Vienna, but you can't buy it today.
