Ownership. Cawston Press acquired LA Brewery in August 2026 after the brand closed its Suffolk factory and moved production to a co-packer.
What's in the box: A delivery of L.A. Brewery's own sparkling kombucha in bottles or cans, either a single flavour or a mixed selection.
L.A. Brewery makes kombucha for people who want an alternative to sparkling wine more than a health shot. The base is fair-trade Sencha tea, fermented and matured in tank for six weeks. The brand says the result is tart, low in sugar and calories, sulphite free and rich in live cultures. The range includes flavours such as English Blush, White Rose and a ginger variety, sold in wine-style bottles or smaller cans, plus mixed bundles. It is meant for aperitifs, drinking with food, celebrations and mixing cocktails, and it is made in England. You order the subscription through a Subscribe & Save option. The site does not clearly say how often deliveries come, what sizes are available or how to pause or cancel, so check those terms before you sign up. This is a repeat order of drinks you already like, not a discovery box. You get one brand's own range rather than a rotating mix of fermented products from different makers. If you have stopped drinking or are cutting back and want something drier and more complex than soft drinks at the dinner table, this is a good choice. If you prefer sweet, fruity kombucha or want to try more than one producer, look elsewhere.
