Little Passports

What's in the box: A themed kit with a story or comic, a hands-on project or experiment, and games or activities, matched to the subscription line.

Little Passports sells monthly activity subscriptions for children, split into six lines by age and theme. Early Explorers (ages 3-5) and Animals Wild (ages 4-6) are for younger kids. Science Junior (ages 5-8) and World Adventures (ages 6-10) are for the middle years, and Kitchen Adventures (ages 7+) and Science Expeditions (ages 8+) are for older children. The site lists most plans starting at $25 a month, and Kitchen Adventures starts at $32. The idea throughout is learning about the world through hands-on play. World Adventures visits a different country each month with a story, a project and a game. The science lines pair experiments with comics or an investigation theme. Little Passports has been around for years and is one of the better-known names in educational boxes for kids. Because the age bands overlap, a family can stay with one company as a child grows, and a separate store sells one-off kits and games. Buyers should know that BEGiN, which bought Little Passports in December 2021, filed for Chapter 11 restructuring in December 2025. The brand is still running, but it makes sense to keep an eye on subscription terms and renewal dates. The kits are built around guided activities, so younger children will probably need an adult nearby.
