What's in the box: Several rolls of Lomography film in your chosen format (35mm, 120, 110 or mixed), plus a surprise film roll each month.
Lomography is the Vienna-based company known for quirky cameras and its own range of experimental film stocks, and its subscription delivers those films to your door every month. You choose a package by format: 35mm, 120, 110, or a mixed bundle. Lomography then picks the rolls from its own collection and adds a surprise film each month. That makes it a good way to try stocks you might never buy on your own, such as the brand's color-shifting or unusual black and white emulsions. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. It ships to Austria and much of the rest of the EU, plus the UK, Norway, Canada and the USA. The main limitation is that everything comes from Lomography's own catalogue, so don't expect Kodak Portra, Ilford HP5 or other staples from outside brands. Lomography films also lean toward creative, sometimes unpredictable looks, which is great for experimenting but less suited to anyone who wants consistent, neutral results for client work. Support for 110 is a real plus, since few retailers still stock that format. If you enjoy the Lomography look and want regular film without remembering to reorder, it is a convenient choice. If you want a broad mix of brands, a multi-brand film retailer will suit you better.
