LVLY is an Australian online florist that sells bouquets, posies and flower jars, often bundled with gifts such as cookies. Two women started it more than a decade ago because they wanted something to send besides the usual red roses and teddy bear. In April 2022 Limitless Technology, the owner of Flower Chimp, bought it for a reported A$35 million, and it still trades under its own name. LVLY runs its own fulfilment centres in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. It says its own florists make every arrangement by hand rather than passing orders to a network of third party florists. Most metro areas get same-day delivery seven days a week if you order before the cut-off, and the rest of the country gets next-day delivery. Under its Paddock to Posy promise it buys from Australian growers where it can, which it says keeps stems fresher for longer. Keep in mind that the site is built around one-off gifting. The homepage doesn't show a recurring flower plan, so if you want a regular subscription, check what is on offer before you commit. Smaller arrangements start at around $65 to $70 and larger ones go well past $200. The style is playful and seasonal, with plenty of natives, and a satisfaction guarantee promises to fix any order that disappoints.
