What's in the box: When it operated, boxes centered on hunting gear and accessories suited to mountain and backcountry hunting.

Mountain Hunter Box is no longer operating. Its website does not load, and Hello Subscription lists it as closed. When it ran, it was a US hunting subscription box. As the name suggests, it was aimed at hunters, especially those who hunt in mountain and backcountry country. The idea was a recurring shipment of hunting gear and related items, so subscribers could try products they might not have picked out themselves. The site no longer states its prices, plan lengths or shipping terms, and none of these can be checked now. Nobody knows exactly when the service closed. If you subscribed in the past, look over your bank or card statements to make sure no recurring charges are still going through. If you see one you don't expect, contact your card issuer. Anyone shopping now has nothing to sign up for here. If a hunting subscription appeals to you, choose a service with a working website, clear cancellation terms and recent customer feedback before you hand over payment details. Treat Mountain Hunter Box as a past name in the hunting box category, not an option to consider today.
