My Party Box

What's in the box: A themed set of party supplies and decorations for one event, built around a chosen character or colour theme, with balloons available.

My Party Box is an Auckland online party shop, not a true subscription service. It doesn't describe any recurring plan. You choose a themed party box or individual supplies for one event and have it delivered, and click and collect is also offered. Most themes are aimed at children's birthdays, including Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, Minecraft, Stitch, Farm Party, Strawberry, Fairy and Pamper Party, and the shop says it updates them to follow trends. You can also browse supplies by age, colour and occasion, which helps if you're matching a colour scheme.

Balloons are the shop's strongest area. You can order helium balloons, design your own balloon garland, and browse latex balloons in colour charts grouped by shade. There's also a rental range with arch backdrops, shimmer walls, floral arrangements, neon lights and cake plinths. That's handy for Auckland hosts who want a styled setup without buying everything.

The store feels a bit unfocused. Handmade press-on nails are promoted on the front page next to the party gear, and the site has a few spelling slips. It doesn't clearly list what each themed box contains, so check the product pages before you order. The shop also announces short holiday closures, so plan around them if your party date is close.
