MyTreat is a New Zealand self-care subscription that puts NZ-made products first, and brands in its shop such as Evolu, Nude Kiwi and Loveskin back that up. There are three subscription options. The Wellness Box arrives monthly with a theme, such as 'Glow' for October, and is described as holding at least $150 worth of products. The Mystery Box is a monthly lucky dip worth over $100. It mixes skincare and makeup with snacks, drinks, accessories and eco items, and is aimed at shoppers on a budget. The newer Seasonal Box ships quarterly with seven to ten full-sized products said to be worth over $250, but spots are limited. You can pause, change or cancel your subscription at any time, and the first box is sent within days of ordering. If you would rather choose items yourself, the Build Your Box shop sells single products and gift box inserts. MyTreat also posts hint and spoiler articles for each box, which is handy if you like to know roughly what is coming. One thing to keep in mind is that the stated values are retail figures, not what you actually pay. The Mystery Box also covers so many categories that some items may not suit you.
