MyTree, which calls itself My Tree in Israel on its site, is not a typical monthly box. It works as an adoption program with a once-a-year delivery. You adopt an olive tree in the grove of Gal, a third-generation farmer. After the November harvest you receive six bottles of olive oil with your own personal label. The same idea applies to a grapevine in Jacob's vineyard, which brings a six-bottle case of wine in time for Passover and the High Holidays. It also covers a share of a whisky barrel from Golani Distillery in the Golan Heights. The main pitch is supporting Israeli farmers and building a personal tie to the land. The site also mentions support for Beit Kobi, a nonprofit that helps lone soldiers, plus community fundraising and a memorial tree with a personalized plaque honoring October 7th victims. If you share that motivation, the private labels and the chance to meet the farmer and visit your tree are unusual. If you want a varied pantry selection, look elsewhere. You get one product per adoption, delivery follows the harvest calendar, and the site does not state prices, oil varieties, or what happens after a weak harvest.
