What's in the box: A pair of Nike children's sneakers in the child's current size, plus small kid-focused extras such as activity materials.
Nike Adventure Club has shut down and no longer takes orders. Its website no longer loads, and billing ended on December 1, 2020. While it ran, it was Nike's own sneaker subscription for children. Parents chose a delivery schedule, and the club sent new pairs of Nike kids' shoes so a growing child had shoes in the right size without repeated trips to the store. Families picked styles from Nike's children's range. The club also encouraged sending back outgrown pairs to be donated or recycled instead of thrown away. Boxes came with small extras for kids, such as activity materials meant to make each delivery feel like an event. The idea made sense for parents tired of buying shoes every few months, and because the shoes came straight from Nike, there was no question about whether they were genuine. The weak spots were that it offered only one brand, and a fixed schedule of new shoes could easily move faster than a child's feet actually grew. Since the service has ended, there is nothing to sign up for. If you liked the idea, you can buy Nike kids' shoes from regular retailers or look at other children's shoe options. Replacing shoes often is only worth it when your child is truly outgrowing them.
