What's in the box: When it operated, a delivery typically contained extra virgin olive oil from the adopted tree's grove, often with an adoption certificate and details about the producer.
Nudo Adopt an Olive Tree is no longer operating and its website no longer loads, so you can't place new adoptions or receive deliveries. When it ran, Nudo offered a gift-style subscription built around Italian olive groves. Customers adopted a tree from a small producer in Italy. In return they received extra virgin olive oil from that grove's harvest, usually with an adoption certificate and some information about the grower. The appeal was the link to a specific farm and the seasonal rhythm of the harvest, which made it a popular present for food lovers in the UK. Nudo also sold other Italian pantry products alongside the adoptions. Because the site is down, you can't check terms, order status or customer support. If you hold an existing adoption or gift voucher and deliveries have stopped, contact your card provider or payment service about your options. We don't recommend trying to buy or redeem anything from Nudo now. If you like the idea, look for other olive tree adoption schemes or small Italian producers who ship to the UK, and make sure the company is actively trading before you pay.
