On Cyclon Subscription

On's Cyclon subscription is no longer running: On ended it in March 2026 and replaced it with the Cyclon Resale program. When it operated, Cyclon was a way to use running shoes rather than own them. Members received performance running shoes designed to be fully recycled, wore them until they were worn out, and then sent them back to On for a replacement pair. The returned shoes were meant to be recycled into material for new products, so the service was pitched as a way to keep running shoes out of landfill. The best known shoe in the program was the Cloudneo, a fast, lightweight shoe made largely from bio based material derived from castor beans. On is a Swiss performance sportswear brand, and its main site now focuses on regular retail sales of running, trail, tennis, outdoor and lifestyle shoes and apparel. The site does not describe the old subscription or explain how former members are handled, so anyone who was enrolled should contact On's support about returns or account questions. If the circular idea interests you, read the terms of the Cyclon Resale program carefully, since it may work quite differently from the old subscription.
