Ownership. Bought by UK fresh dog food company Butternut Box in April 2023.
What's in the box: Frozen, gently cooked meals made with human-grade meat or fish and vegetables, portioned to your dog's plan.
PsiBufet is a Polish fresh dog food subscription that gently cooks meals and ships them frozen to your door. You start with a short questionnaire about your dog, which the company says takes about two minutes. It uses your answers to build a portioned plan and work out your price. After a starter box, deliveries come every few weeks, and you can change, pause or cancel the plan at any time from your online account or the app. Recipes are based on human-grade meat and fish, with extras like spinach, blueberries, sweet potato and parsley. The brand sets itself firmly against ultra-processed kibble and pitches the food at picky eaters, puppies and dogs with sensitive stomachs. Since April 2023 PsiBufet has been owned by Butternut Box, the UK fresh dog food company, so it has an experienced parent behind it. At signup the site advertises a discount on the first two boxes, free delivery, and free treats with a bandana, though offers like these can change. Prices are not shown up front, so you only see the cost after the quiz. Fresh food usually costs a good deal more than dry kibble, and frozen deliveries need freezer space. The site is in Polish and the service is aimed at households in Poland.
