Closed. The physical monthly box ended when the company turned into Quilters Candy, an online membership; date not found.
What's in the box: When it ran, each monthly box held a curated selection of quilting supplies tied to the founder's designs; the site no longer lists past box contents.
Quilters Candy Box is no longer operating. The physical monthly box has ended, and the brand now runs as Quilters Candy, an online business focused on quilt patterns and business education for quilters. The site does not say when the box stopped shipping. When it was running, it was a US subscription for quilters who wanted a curated delivery of quilting supplies each month, built around the style of founder Elizabeth Chappell, a quilt pattern designer. Today, quilterscandy.com sells quilt patterns, pattern templates, a pattern style guide and a book. It also offers a Quilt Pattern Writing Course, plus a free course that teaches pattern writing with free software. A weekly podcast called Craft to Career covers running a small business in the quilting industry. The current site is useful mainly for quilters who want to design, publish and sell their own patterns. It is not for people looking for regular deliveries of fabric and notions. If you want a quilting box, you will need to look elsewhere, because there is no box to subscribe to. Former subscribers with questions about past orders can use the contact page on the site. Hobby quilters may still enjoy browsing the patterns, but the box itself is gone.
