Randebox

What's in the box: A themed box with a Randeplán evening guide, five activities, games, playlists, videos and the props for a date at home lasting about two hours.

Randebox is a Czech date night kit for couples who want a planned evening without leaving home. Each box is built around a single theme. The site's examples include a Las Vegas casino night, a Prohibition-era secret bar set up in your living room and a castaway survival adventure on a deserted island. Inside you get a Randeplán, a step-by-step plan for the evening, along with five activities, games, playlists, videos and the props you need for a date of about two hours. It is aimed at busy couples and parents who can't easily get a babysitter, and at anyone who has run out of ideas beyond the usual restaurant or cinema. The menu also lists a wedding edition and a 'Minimalista' option. The company says a box costs no more than a trip to the cinema or theater, but the main page does not give prices or say whether you can order on a recurring subscription, so check the e-shop before you order. Everything is in Czech, which matters if you are buying a gift for someone who doesn't speak it. For couples in the Czech Republic who enjoy structured, playful evenings and a bit of themed role play, it is a thoughtful option that takes little effort.
