What's in the box: A recurring delivery of bottles chosen from Scout & Cellar's own range of sparkling, white, rosé and red wines.
Scout & Cellar is a US wine seller built around Clean-Crafted, a quality standard the company created itself. It says its wines are sustainably grown, made with no added sugars and independently lab tested to meet that standard. The subscription is called Scout Circle. You set a delivery schedule and wine arrives on a recurring basis, with a members' saving on each order. The range covers sparkling, white, rosé and red wines. Most are private labels from California, with some bottles from Chile, Italy and Spain. The site lists new arrivals, limited releases and a rotating set of cellar favorites, so there is variety for repeat orders. Keep in mind that Clean-Crafted is the company's own marketing standard, not a regulated certification. Treat any health or 'no headache' talk around it with caution. The brand also runs a commission-based seller program, and some shoppers may find that direct-sales side off-putting. Full Glass Wine Co. bought Scout & Cellar in 2024, and the business is still running. Most of the labels are made only for the brand, so they are hard to compare with wines sold in regular stores. Overall it is a decent option if you care about how your wine is produced. Value-focused buyers may get more for their money elsewhere.
