SCOUTbox

Closed. The domain is parked or for sale; the service is no longer running.

What's in the box: When it operated, each box was themed around hiking and probably held small trail gear, accessories or consumables, but the exact contents were never confirmed publicly.

SCOUTbox has shut down. The scoutbox.com domain is now a parked page listed for sale, and you can no longer order, manage or cancel a subscription there. When it was running, SCOUTbox was a US subscription service for hikers. It sent subscribers a regular box of trail-related items. The appeal was that you could try new things for day hikes and time outdoors without shopping for each item yourself. The site no longer says what each box contained, what it cost or how often it shipped, so we can't confirm those details. If you were a subscriber, check your bank or card statements for any recurring charges that are still going through. There is no working customer page to contact, so if something looks wrong, ask your card issuer for help. If you want a hiking box today, look for a service that is still shipping and that clearly posts its prices, cancellation terms and contact details on its website. Don't try to sign up for SCOUTbox. Be careful with any seller or link that claims to offer it, including discount code pages tied to the old name.
