What's in the box: A box of ready-to-use materials for several science experiments, plus illustrated instructions, video tutorials and access to an augmented reality app.

SmartBee Club is a Polish brand selling boxes of hands-on science experiments for children aged 8 and up, meant to be done together with an adult. The kits are designed by scientists connected with the Institute of Molecular Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and tested by children. That gives them more credibility than many generic toy store sets. Each BeeBox arrives with all materials gathered and ready to use. The experiments come with animated videos, filmed tutorials, illustrated instructions, fun facts and an augmented reality app, and instructions are also available online. The current headline kit is the Glutologist Lab, which the brand says won a Toy of the Year 2025 award. It covers yeast microlife, fake blood and similar topics with a playful, humorous tone. Kits start from 24,90 zł, so trying one is a low commitment. The site also offers quizzes, a blog and a program for schools. Despite the club name, the site reads more like a shop of individual kits than a clearly described subscription. It does not explain plan options, delivery frequency or cancellation terms. The content is mainly in Polish, though the site has an English version, so families outside Poland should check what language the videos and instructions are in before buying.
