What's in the box: Two handwritten postcards a month, each stamped and postmarked from a stop on the trip, with a personal note about life on the road.
Snail Mail Postcard Club is a small, personal project run by Cassidy Robertson, a motorcycle rider and storyteller who posts as @MotoCassidy and founded Gravel & Gas. Members get two handwritten postcards each month, mailed from wherever her trip across North America has taken her. That could be a wet campsite in British Columbia, a parking lot in Nashville, or a remote gravel road. Each card has a personal note, a real stamp and postmark, and an update on life on the road, including the hard days, new finds and plans ahead. Pricing is tiered. The first tier is $6.31 a month and later tiers cost more, up to $30.86 or more a month. Every tier gets the same two cards, so the tiers only reward people who join early. Membership is capped at 150 people because every card is written by hand, and you can cancel anytime. This is not a product box. You pay for a slow, analog connection to one person's journey and to help keep that journey going. If you already follow her online or enjoy getting real mail, it delivers something few subscriptions can. The site does not say where it ships or how long cards take to arrive.
