What's in the box: When it was running, each box held a surprise selection of horror and spooky themed items, but the exact contents are no longer published.

Spooky Box Club has closed. Its website now shows only a parked domain page offering the address for sale, and there is no sign that any boxes are still being sent out. When it was running, it was a UK subscription box for horror and spooky fans. It sent regular themed deliveries to people who enjoy the darker side of pop culture. The appeal was simple: a recurring surprise of creepy goods arriving at your door, aimed mainly at British customers. The site no longer shows prices, box contents or delivery terms, and because the service has shut there is no way to check them. Some customer reviews from its trading days are still online, but they describe a business that has since stopped. Do not try to subscribe to, or send payment to, anyone using the Spooky Box Club name or web address, since the original business is no longer behind it. If you want a horror themed subscription in the UK, choose a box that is clearly active, with a working shop, visible contact details and recent customer feedback. Spooky Box Club is worth knowing about only as a service that no longer exists.
